The triploid groups at these sites were treated against winter ulcers in the middle of March. The L8Td group are those cages from the L8T group that were terminated earlier due to high prevalence of wounds, the cages with, group L9T1 is excluded since two of three cages in this group were destroyed due to HSMI (see section 4.1) and there were not enough wound-scoring data available for this group during this period.
