Curriculum Vitae

Specialist in marine fungi. Focus on fungi in algae - seaweed and kelp. Taxonomic determination, mapping and description of new species. Contributes to the barcoding of life with the generation of reference DNA sequences of marine fungi.
Has experience in molecular biology and biotechnology from the bachelor's and master's degree. The doctoral degree focused on marine fungi, their systematics, genomic analyses and isolation of metabolites in a bioprospecting pipeline. In my free time I am a hobby mycologist where mapping of species in Norway is central.
