Hydrograf

From 1 January 2022, the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) is operating and manning the vessel Hydrograf, owned by the Norwegian Mapping Authority. IMR will use the ship 10 per cent of the time, and the Norwegian Mapping Authority will use the ship 90 per cent of the time. 

The hydrographers on board will continue to be employed by the Norwegian Mapping Authority. MS «Hydrograf» is used for seafloor mapping as a lodging and processing platform and is equipped with the multibeam sonar EM710.
