Curriculum Vitae
I am a marine ecologist with a focus on plankton biology and molecular ecology. Since 2008, I have been involved in plankton ecology research, primarily in academia, focusing on food web interactions within plankton communities through both experimental and molecular biology approaches.
Since 2020, I have held the position of head engineer in the Sustainable Development group at IMR. My responsibilities include overseeing plankton-related tasks during research conducted on board the R/V Dr. Fridtjof Nansen and the participation in capacity development projects. This involves the management of the plankton lab on board the vessel, coordinating logistics, training scientists and students, developing protocols, ensuring data quality control, and performing sample and data analysis.
