Arbeidsområde

Marine ecosystem structure and functioning

Ecosystem based management; Ecosystem based fisheries management

Curriculum Vitae

My research interests revolve around drivers of variation in trophic interactions, food webs and ecosystem structure and dynamics. I use both empirical and modelling approaches, and have in recent years assisted the implementation of ecological processes in an Atlantis ecosystem model for the Nordic and the Barents Sea. I am furthermore involved in developing ecosystem-based management and ecosystem-based fisheries management, including Integrated Ecosystem Assessments (IEA) and use of IEAs for management advice.
