50 years of the EAF-Nansen Programme – Fisheries Management for Food Security

At One Ocean Week in Bergen, we will shed light on the Programme’s key achievements.

The EAF-Nansen Programme has been advancing ocean science and sustainable fisheries management for 50 years, significantly contributing to food and nutrition security in more than 50 partner countries and regional organizations. 

At One Ocean Week in Bergen, we will shed light on the Programme’s key achievements through its different phases, highlight its contribution to scientific knowledge and foster dialogue on the role of marine resource management for global food security.

The event will be organized by the EAF-Nansen Programme, with speakers representing Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research.
