FAO (2013-2014):  Member of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), (part of the FAO organisation), the High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) on Fisheries and Aquaculture in developing countries, report No 7. 
Norad:             Responsible for Norad activities at NIFES; as part of the agreement between Norad, NIFES, IMR, Directorate of Fisheries, and NFSA, where NIFES expertise on Feed and food safety, and food quality, are inputs in these projects.  During these years, and until 2014 (when Norad-agreement was terminated) NIFES had project activities ongoing in Cuba (establish aquaculture activity), Sri-Lanka (seafood quality), Mauritius (legislations), and expected to come in Angola, Mosambique and Indonesia (the two latter are both asking for feed expertise, and still under discussion). 
NFSA (Norwegian Food Safety Authority):  Responsible for all surveillance projects at NIFES, and communication with the Food Authorities on behalf of NIFES;  Surveillance programs ongoing in 2013 and 2014
