Curriculum Vitae

Jeg har lang fartstid som forskningsleder, veileder og underviser innen sjømat og ernæring og har vært professor II i medisin (ernæringsfysiologi) på Universitetet i Bergen siden 2003.  I min rolle som programleder for Trygg og Sunn Sjømat har jeg organisert prosjektporteføljen i fire innsatsområder som er i tråd med instituttets hoved instruks, tildelingsbrev, kjerneområder, overvåkings plan og strategi:
 
1.     Overvåking av uønskede stoffer i sjømat og nye marine ressurser i relasjon til marint miljø.
2.     Overvåking av næringsstoffer i sjømat og nye marine ressurser.
3.     Den samlede effekten av sjømat på ernæringsstatus og helse.
4.     Mat og ernæringssikkerhet, herunder sekretariatsfunksjon for det globale handlingsnettverket:
