Research achievements: I have been able to publish my work in multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journals with a high impact and readership in the field of environmental microbiology such as The Lancet Microbe (IF 20.9), Microbiome (IF 13.8), Water Research (IF 11.5), Environmental Science & Technology (IF 10.9), Environment International (IF 10.3) and Science of The Total Environment (IF 8.2). I have a total of 58 publications, 6 preprints, two technical reports and one book chapter, 18 as 1st author and 15 as the last author, with 44 publications without my phD supervisor as a co-author. I have a total of 2917 citations and H-index of 26 and i10 index of 39 (as on 6th January 2025). I have given >20 invited scientific talks and presented >30 posters in scientific conferences.
